ChorusLife Volley Bergamo produced one of the weekend’s biggest surprises, recovering from a 2-1 deficit to win 3-2 at Igor Gorgonzola Novara, while newly promoted CDA Volley Talmassons maintained their perfect start as the second round of Italy’s 2026/27 LVF Serie A1 Fineco concluded.

Bergamo trailed 2-1 before winning the final two sets 25-18 and 15-10 to complete a five-set comeback. Novara’s Tatiana Tolok scored 29 points, but the visitors’ fight in the closing stages proved decisive.
Silke Van Avermaet was named MVP after scoring 15 points, including five blocks. Kendall Kipp also contributed 15 points, while Denise Meli added 14 in a determined team performance.
Talmassons Extend Their Unbeaten Start
Newly promoted Talmassons continued their impressive start with a 3-1 home win over Granda Volley Cuneo, securing their second consecutive victory. Giulia Frosini led the hosts with 21 points, while Leonarda Grabic added 18. Setter Francesca Scola earned MVP honours.
